History
Amul was established in the year of 1946 as a cooperative dairy in a small town of Anand in Khaira district in the state of Gujarat. Dr. Verghese Kurien founded this company and it is the start of the white revolution.

The year under review has witnessed tremendous demand in Amul products like Milk Powder, Butter, Flavoured Milk, Chocolate, Icecream, Panneer, Ghee, Cheese, etc. have shown increased demands.

At Anand, the production of Butter, Milk powder and Ghee has witnessed an increase of 20%, 25% and 15% respectively and increasing rapidly all because of the quality of productions.
